Photographer. Storyteller. Beauty Revealer

Capturing the Extraordinary in Every Woman

Welcome to my studio — where your story, your strength, and your spirit take center stage.

I’m Bobbi Jo Brooks, and I believe every woman deserves to see herself through a lens of love — especially those of us who’ve lived, lost, grown, and risen. I specialize in creating portrait experiences that go beyond the camera, offering a space for women — particularly over 40 — to reconnect with their beauty, power, and worth.

Before I built my studio in North Georgia, I spent over 20 years working with an international nonprofit — and seven of those years living in Europe. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for the beauty in different cultures, perspectives, and the universal strength of women everywhere. Today, I bring both a local heart and a global lens to everything I do.

This isn’t just photography — it’s an experience. I pride myself on making women feel at ease, seen, and celebrated. My sessions are designed to be transformative — whether you’re stepping into a 40 Over 40 Portrait Experience, an AS I AM session, or a personal branding shoot — we’ll create portraits that invite viewers to come closer, to really see the beautiful humanity in every face I photograph.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m mentoring young photographers, collaborating with changemakers, and curating gallery shows and magazines that amplify real stories. My clients range from Atlanta to Virginia to beyond — because this kind of transformation knows no borders.

You won’t find stiff poses or cookie-cutter images here. You’ll find authenticity, artistry, and a deep respect for who you are — just as you are.

So if you’re ready to step into the spotlight, own your story, and fall in love with your reflection...
Let’s create something unforgettable.

AS SEEN IN: Green Hill Gallery, ArtsATL, Jezebel Magazine, Gallery 1740, Creative Loafing, Atlanta Show Guide, The Pulp Gallery, Arts Kreuzberg and in homes of private collectors around the globe.

Want to know more?

Let's talk about the benefits of putting down your phone and getting in the picture with your kids. A year from now, you'll be glad you did this—and so will they.

What’s involved?

It's an easy, laid-back day. I'll come to your home or your favorite outdoor location, and we'll just hang out together. No special outfits, no crazy activities, no posing required.

What’s it cost?

My clients spend an average of $1350—and tell me it's one of the best investments they've ever made. I’m honored to be considered their photographer for life.

about you

You prioritize time with your kids over things, preferring to roll in the grass, play hide and seek, spend extra moments in a hug, and play princess for a day. You want to raise strong humans who love as fiercely as you do. Your home emanates love and you don’t sweat marks on the walls or fingerprinted windows. Your favorite things are cooking together, story time, game nights, and sofa snuggles. You value family time and know the ache of wanting to stop time to keep them just the way they are right here, right now. And that’s what the power of the photograph does for you.

Reach out so we can chat more about a session for you:
